History of Suzuki Jimny Malaysia

1. It still unknown in detail how early models of the Suzuki such as LJ80 and SJ410/413 were sold in Malaysia.
2. Model (SJ series: SJ410, SJ413) were manufactured in 1977-1984. Although this series is SJ only but most of the owners in Sabah/Malaysia call them as Jimny SJ410/413. In fact the SJ413 model is JA51 Jimmy 1300.
   
3. Model Samurai Series: Sierra (Europe, Aus, NZ), Jimny (Asia) which manufactured between 1985-1996 is an extension to SJ410 with exactly the same model but only carry different logo.
   
4. The new Jimny JB Series (production starts in 1998) is not available in Malaysia which become a market specific.
5. Therefore we're still wondering if Malaysia will allow this newer model to be sold in Malaysia.
